Description

Report of meeting minutes of the "freeholders and other inhabitants" of Wrentham dated June 3d and September 30th 1774. Jabez Fisher was chosen as Wrentham's representative to the Boston Committee of Correspondence and to the General Court of Massachusetts. Jabez is instructed "to make the present Charter of the Province the rule of your conduct" at the upcoming General Assembly meeting in Salem in October. Signed: "A true copy attest. John Messinger T. Clerk." The manuscripts bear the signatures of John Smith, Thomas Man, Lemuel Hollock, and Ebenezer Daggett.
