Abstract
Influence of the shear deformation and rotary inertia on the stationary random response of elastic structures is studied. To elucidate this effect, the simple two degrees-of-freedom system is considered with relevant interpretation of the results. Beam random vibrations also are examined under classical and nonclassical treatments.
