Abstract
The caprellid fauna from the shallow waters of Florida's southeastern coast were investigated. Eleven species of caprellid amphipods were found: Caprella andreae, Caprella danilevskii, Caprella equilibra, Caprella oenantis, Caprella scaura, Fallotritella biscaynensis, Hemiaeqina minuta, Luconacia incerta, Paracaorella pusilla, Paracaprella tenuis, and Phtisica marina. All species were new distribution records for the collection locations except for five species at the Miami site and two species at the Fort Lauderdale site.
